Everything including the Kitchen Sink
Posted on 10th September 2007
My teenage daughter has no hang ups – everything she owns is on the floor. On the day to return to boarding school, she sweeps everything up and stuffs it unceremoniously into her trunk and numerous plastic bags like a refugee.
Children at school can have a lot of expensive belongings these days – laptop, mobiles, ipods and equipment, not to mention all the clothes on the floor. It would be an understatement to say that they don’t always look after them in the way they should. So what happens when their possessions are lost, stolen or damaged during term time?
We at SFS Group Ltd can help you. We live with this scenario everyday. Our Personal Possessions Scheme covers these eventualities whether at school, on the journey to or from school or on a school trip. We have a scheme for University Students too.
If you think they are already covered on your household policy, then please check carefully. Their belongings may be covered only for use in your home. Rather defeats the object of owning a laptop, doesn’t it?
It is no use crying over spilt milk – get those possessions covered, whilst they’re still on the floor.
From £16.50 per term for pupils and £11 per term for university students
