Independent school welcomes positive report
Posted on 4th June 2007
A school in Hertfordshire has received an extremely positive report from the Independent Schools Council (ISC) following a visit from inspectors in February.
The Arts Educational School in Tring was praised for the achievement and behaviour of its pupils as well as the enthusiasm and teaching ability of its staff, the Hemel Gazette reports.
The ISC report also said the specialist dance, drama and music school provided an outstanding range of educational opportunities for those who attend and promotes a proud ethos that is felt by all of its staff and students.
Headteacher Stefan Anderson told the Hemel Gazette: "It is an incredibly positive report and I think it really captures everything that is best about the school.
"It is great that the inspectors picked up that pupils are so proud of their school and I think that is a wonderful accolade."
Tring Arts Educational School offers opportunities for both girls and boys who wish to develop their skills in performing arts whilst also continuing with an academic education up to A-Level.
