An "outstanding" verdict has been issued of an independent school based in Devon.
Stover School in Newton Abbot was highly praised by the Independent Schools Inspectorate in its latest report.
Positive points were found right the way through the school, which caters for girls and boys aged from three to 18 in both day and boarding facilities.
While the nursery and prep school were praised for providing children at the school with an "outstanding start" to their education, the inspectorate also commented on the "good quality" of schooling elsewhere in the institution.
Principal of the private school Sue Bradley welcomed the report as being "extremely positive".
"Stover is a very successful school with many strengths and we will continue to maintain and develop good practice and procedures throughout the whole school," she added.
More than 30 students from Stover recently returned from a trip to New York organised by the school's art department.
