The Independent Schools Council (ISC) has announced the launch of two conferences in June, featuring a range of speakers.
Schools secretary Ed Balls, Lord Coe and Sir Roger Singleton will be among those present at the ISC Annual Conference, which will this year be held on Tuesday June 2nd.
Topics affecting the independent sector such as international benchmarking, improving alumni relations, public benefit and strategies for managing the impact of the recession will be discussed at the event.
And on the following day the ISC Partnerships Conference - produced in association with the Department for Children, Schools and Families - will look at ways in which the independent and maintained sectors can forge partnerships.
Speakers including schools minister Jim Knight and Wellington College head Dr Anthony Seldon will talk about issues such as the National Challenge scheme, academies and trusts at the event.
Chief executive of the ISC David Lyscom recently called on the government to reform league tables to include results for International GCSE exams.
