A homebuilding firm has unveiled a series of incentives for parents who wish to live near to independent schools.
Charles Church is offering its Fair Share equity scheme on homes at its Royal Walk development in Bracknell, which it states is located close to"numerous" independent institutions that are able to cater to all ages.
The properties are also situated not far from the University of Reading for those thinking ahead to further education, the company noted.
Purchasers can pay 75 per cent of the value of the new home yet own it entirely under the shared equity scheme - they pay the firm back when the property is eventually sold.
A house priced at £159,950 is reduced to £119,963 under the agreement.
Recently, the bursar of Harrow School, Nick Shyrane, claimed that independent schools save taxpayers' money as they relieve the burden on state schools.
He argued that they save the taxpayer over £2 billion a year, in a letter to the Telegraph.
