A private school in Oxfordshire has just opened a new sixth-form centre, which includes a host of facilities for the older students.
Sibford School's new building was officially opened by its youngest pupil four-year-old Elena Swift, alongside head girl Chloe Ferguson.
Sixth-form students at the school will now be able to take advantage of the centre's internet-enabled study suites, a conference room, a careers office, special teaching areas and a student lounge.
Headteacher Michael Goodwin noted that the new facilities will allow the school to give the hard-working students "better support".
He added that due to the high workload sixth formers have to cope with "it is only right that we provide top class facilities for study and research, as well the space and surroundings for our students to relax and socialise".
Sibford, a co-educational boarding school opened in 1842, is home to 420 pupils aged between four and 18.
