Parents of private school pupils got a shock at a fundraiser when two Hollywood stars appeared.
Robert De Niro and Kate Beckinsale popped up in a pre-recorded video for an end-of-term awards dinner at independent school Davenies, reports the Telegraph.
This was thanks to director Kirk Jones, whose child attended the boys' prep school.
The Waking Ned director is currently working on a film starring the two famous faces and managed to rope them in to help with the Oscar-themed night.
Both Mr De Niro and Ms Beckinsale appeared on screen to present awards, which are presented each year to both staff and members of the local community in Buckinghamshire.
Headmaster Craig Watson told the paper: "It was quite staggering. We were very grateful that Kirk Jones had gone to so much trouble and praised the people that work so hard at the school."
Davenies, based in Beaconsfield, is an independent day school for boys aged between four and 13.
