An independent school pupil has become the youngest ever captain to lead the national under-15 squash team to success.
Oliver Holland, a pupil at Nottingham High School, claimed victory at the European Championships last month at just 13-years-old, Private School News reports.
Europe's number one under-15 squash player competed with the rest of the England team against teams such as Israel, Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic and the home country of the Lyon event, France.
"It was an honour to captain the team and I hope I helped to motivate them to victory", Oliver told the news source.
Another recent private school sporting success story was Chris Eaton, who shocked tennis fans when he beat Serbian Boris Pashanski in the first round of Wimbledon last month, who was ranked 547 places higher than the former Reed's School pupil.
