After 17 years at the helm Angus Cater hands over the role of Managing Director to his Commercial Director, Martin Linaker.
Angus will continue to play an integral part in the company as Executive Chairman with many of his current activities, such as strategy, managing relationships with schools and suppliers and carrying out research and development of new products.
Martin, who has been a director of SFS Group since 2007, will be responsible for the operational and financial management of the company.
“We have had a programme of gradual transition in place for the last two years which has worked well” said Angus. “Martin takes over as MD with the full backing of the Board and I wish him every success in the years ahead.”
Acknowledging Angus’ role in the success of SFS Group, Martin said “I would like to thank Angus for a smooth handover and for the considerable part he has played throughout the company’s 21 year history. Angus and I will continue to work closely together to meet our independent school, parent and university customer requirements and to grow the company.”
